During John’s career, he has engaged with many organizations and individuals in a variety of roles including board, committee, executive, chief business and financial officer, controller, staff, faculty, and practitioner serving clients.

He has a foundation in public accounting and consulting having practiced with three firms along with community, private, and university experience.

Responsible for business and operations, John has supported a team of direct reports including accounting with budgeting, cash management, and forecasting; admissions and retention; business; facilities; financial aid; and human resources.

Since 2011, he has served on College of Business faculty with five universities.

In 2014, John began facilitating professional development courses for the Indiana CPA Society throughout Indiana.

In addition to a background in business operations and financial reporting and analysis, he has natural interests in building professional relations. He currently serves as vice president of membership for Financial Executives International-Fort Wayne and on the Rotary Club of Fort Wayne membership committee. John is also a member of Association of Fundraising Professionals, BoardSource, Charitable Gift Planners of Northeast Indiana, Financial Executives Networking Group, and Northeast Indiana Human Resources Association.

With a multidisciplinary approach, he firmly believes in lifelong learning. Through continued education and involvement in organizations, John adds both breadth and depth to engagements.
